Persnickety Exibition of Michael W. Moses Ceramic Art Pottery in Madison, MS Concluded

It has been about a year now since I did my last post.  I am a little surprised that it has been so long.  I,  just this weekend finished a year long exhibit at  Persnickety,  in Madison, MS. I would like to thank Ben Rogers and all of his staff at Persnickety for displaying my work and allowing the people of Madison the opportunity to view and purchase my ceramic art pottery.

Below are a some images of ceramic art that were sold at Persnickety .

Sold Two Ceramic Art Pottery StarFish bowls by Michael W. Moses

Well, I am pleased to tell you that I sold two pieces of my ceramic art pottery  a couple of days back.  The first piece was featured in my first post on this blog back on December 3, 2010, and is called "EEEEWWW! Save Us From the Oil!".  This piece was made in remembrance of the BP oil spill.

The second piece that was sold was my "Taking it Easy StarFish Bowl".  This piece features a lazy little starfish basking in the early morning sun, playfully balancing a genuine cultured pearl as an adornment on the very center of it's body.  Maybe it will play a quick game of hacky sack with the pearl, or maybe have it for a light snack?

Both pieces were sold to a very nice woman from the Los Angeles area for her circa 1930's beach house.

Symbiosis Ceramic Art Pottery Vase by Michael W. Moses SOLD!

Today I sold my piece of hand crafted ceramic art pottery that I called Symbiosis Vase, this piece was featured in an earlier post.  I was working in the shop packing up things for the move, when two of the people that collect my art pottery showed up to buy it.

The move is going slowly but surely.  We have until 1 April to have everything out and finished.  It seems like we will make it with a little bit of work though.

Dotted Blue Bulb Vase by Michael W. Moses SOLD today at South Coast Antiques & Gallery

This afternoon we sold one of my bulb vases. This one is called the "Dotted Blue Bulb Vase". It was purchased by a man and woman from Biloxi that were getting it for a Christmas gift for their daughter in California. This little bulb vase has so much lively movement that it just seems as if it will run away at any moment, but it's created to be stable and support one long thin blossom with maybe a small leaf or two on it. Imagine a brightly colored tulip, a long stemmed spider lilly, or even a single orchid sprouting from it's bulbous body. But in my opinion a flower is not even necessary to make this work of art a stand out piece in any room.
